Re: Might as well... Any questions about Washington State?
The BEST guitar store in Seattle, in Fremont, actually, is Dusty Strings. It's an acoustic store, but it has the best acoustic selection of any store I've ever set foot in. And the staff is fantastic. By far one of the best guitar store staffs I've ever met. Quote: |
I've thought about moving to Seattle. Would the rain get to me after a while?

It depends. I lived here for 18 years before I moved to Phoenix. People say that the rain is depressing, but I found Arizona way more depressing. Every day of the year looks the exact same. It can be December and it's sunny outside. July, sunny outside. It's so monotonous. Washington actually has seasons, albeit, a lot of rain. But I love it. It's been raining here hard tonight and I went out and stood in it for a few minutes. I thoroughly enjoy it. Keep in mind, if the rain is too much for you, the whole eastern side of the state is actually a desert and has great weather;not to mention four real seasons. Cold as hell in the winter, perfect in the summer. If you're bummed out, take a trip to one of the many great little towns along the Columbia River and soak up the sun.
