Over the years I have noticed that my relative lack of home repair skills can be very costly. Not only that, but the quality of the job of a pro seems to leave a lot to be desired. My home is not in any disrepair, but I would love to learn some home improvement skills. I am just not sure where to begin to learn these. Unfortunately, my own dad was not much of a teacher when to comes to DIY. For example, my wife would like a remodeled bathroom. Anybody have any suggestions where to best start learning these skills? I realize this is an ambitious project.
