The 10th annual Prostate Cancer fundraiser Tickets are priced at $500 and proceeds go towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Last year?s event raised over $820,000 and this year?s goal is to reach the $1m mark.
The event will consist of discussion panels, live and silent auctions, cocktails, dinner, golf, and the presentation of the Ben Franklin PCF Young Investigators Awards. The awards are given to promising prostate cancer researchers. There will be two discussion panels taking place from 4:00 pm ? 5:45 pm. Topics will be ?A new global perspective: yesterday, today and tomorrow? and ?Advances in prostate cancer treatment and the national challenges facing medical research finance.? Golf will take place from 7:00 pm ? 12:00 am at the Trump National Golf Club. For more information on the golf, contact Denise Liszewksi at 610-525-7515.
Sponsorships are also available for this event from $1,500 to $25,000 and donations of items for the auctions are very welcome. Several Philadelphia businesses will no doubt be sponsoring this worthy fundraiser and could help to increase their aid by working with local printing companies to design and create a flyer to send out to their customers and clients. It might even help to increase business if a company is seen as contributing to such an important cause to the community.
This year?s fundraiser will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel on October 2 from 4:00 pm ? 9:00 pm and will hopefully see the million-dollar goal reached.
